Isabelle Harrison Ruled Out For Toronto Tempo Season Opener
The Toronto Tempo begin their historic inaugural WNBA season on Friday, and they will do so without one of their veteran frontcourt pieces. Harrison, a veteran forward known for her physicality, versatility, and consistency, was signed to add frontcourt depth and experience to the expansion club.
The 32-year-old carries career averages of 7.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game, shooting 47.5 percent from the field across a decade in the league. Harrison was expected to see significant playing time in the frontcourt mix alongside Nyara Sabally and Temi Fagbenle.
Injuries have followed Harrison throughout her career. She missed the entire 2023 season after signing with the Chicago Sky due to knee surgery. A hand injury now costs her the Tempo’s very first regular season contest.
